Blooming Nest

Our pear tree is blooming and this nest is sitting there with blooms in places on it.
It is so cute. There is a dove there now, waiting the hatching day! This is done with pen and ink, and then some tombow pen and water.

Good Sketchbook

There are so many sketchbooks now, but this is one of my favorites. It comes with watercolor paper, Bristol and mixed media.  They are all good.  They also come In  2 sizes. I like the small ones. 

This sketch is from a photo my cousin posted. She has so many beautiful birds, and some fun bird houses/ nests. 

I used a tombow marker on it after I drew it with ink. 

More fun sketches

These were done with a size 38 brush.  I used one of those bamboo sticks dipped in ink to draw lines and splatter. 

Colorful Fish

This was a fun sketch. I just drew the fish and added the colors without mixing anything. 

Love how some of the colors mixed together!

Boots and Barn

 The boots were done with an elegant writer, which is a calligraphy marker. I like the way it changes color when the water hits it.

The barn is done on cream colored watercolor paper. Drawn with a pen and ink, then painted with watercolor.
