Sketches by Suzy 'Pal' Powell
I love to draw and sketch, and have kept sketchbooks for years! This blog is strictly for my sketches past and present...There is nothing quite like finishing a sketchbook and look back through it and remember all the fun things that I got to sketch! Or filling a sketchbook from a trip. Or just sharing your sketchbooks. It is like your own visual diary. If you are interested in getting updates, to to the right side bar and add your email address. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Karla's Cabo Sketchbook
Keri and I took Karla (granddaughter) to Cabo for her graduation in 2013, and I am just finishing her sketchbook from our trip. I found the sketchbook while there. It had gray paper and the ugly man on the front! I have never seen so many skeletons! It was fun to do but i started it and then stuck back, so this year I got it back out and finished it. I enjoyed reliving our fun trip.

Suzy ‘Pal’ Powell Blog
I decided in January to combine my blogs due to saving time just having one blog. That address is www.suzypal.blogspot.com so there are a lot of sketches there, so when you see the date it’s not because I quit, it’s because I combined my sketches along with paintings. I sketch more anyway.
Thank you for visiting my blog.

30 days of sketching
I did the 30 day sketchbook challenge. This is a collage of the 30 days plus 2 days in February.
I have decided to include my sketches along with the watercolors and collages from now on, instead of having a separate blog. Now it will all be together.
We had a prompt for everyday. I did skip a couple days, due to not being home or not wanting to draw something weird.
I enjoyed the ones I did though! I do love to draw while watching Television. Drawing everyday has made such a difference!

30 day Sketchbook Challenge
We are half way through with the 30 day challenge! Each day we get an email with what to draw.
I missed a couple days but here is a collage of what I have finished.
It is a challenge for someone else to tell you what to draw! It definitely stretches your imagination.
There is only 2 that I haven't completed.

A new year! 2018
Household item, Leaves, Round shapes, Lines and angles, fruit, and fish.
I am doing the 30 day sketchbook challenge to try to get back to sketching daily. I am not sure what happened that I stopped but I have to get back to it. There is a prompt everyday so we draw whatever it is.
I missed Jan. 1, but I have up until Jan 7.
