I made it through! I did miss a few days, but I decided not to stress over it!
It was good for me to get back to drawing every night. I coudnt get them onto one page so I have two! They are not in order. Just randomly placed.
I love to draw and sketch, and have kept sketchbooks for years! This blog is strictly for my sketches past and present...There is nothing quite like finishing a sketchbook and look back through it and remember all the fun things that I got to sketch! Or filling a sketchbook from a trip. Or just sharing your sketchbooks. It is like your own visual diary. If you are interested in getting updates, to to the right side bar and add your email address. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Two New Sketches
I wanted to try some new paint 'Casein' and did the small flag, just
messing around with it to see how it painted. One of the main things I
noticed was the smell. I haven't found much info on Casein, but hope to
soon.
We were headed to Midland TX the other day when we got to O'Donnell TX we stopped for photos.
Right there on the main highway running by the town is an awesome old building and several old trucks! Of course I had to get a bunch of pics!

Sketches from Kerrville Tx
I spent a week in Kerrville, TX at another SKB workshop. This one
was called TexArt. It was a great week. David Rankin was the
watercolor instructor and i really enjoyed his class. He is an awesome
instructor. We did gray studies using paynes gray watercolor. We also
all did this same snow scene. They all turned out great.
We also went to the Musuem of Western art in Kerrville and saw the beautiful paintings about Charles Goodnight by Lee Cable. They are awesome. Then Friday Night we went to Fredericksburg to the Hanna Gallery to see the Society of Animals exhibit. Wow! What artists they are. If you are close by go see these awesome art pieces.

Come Have fun filling up a Sketchbook. June 23-24th.
I needed to change the date on the Sketchbook Workshop to June 23-24th in Plains.
More sketching. Still trying for each day! The green doors were in Pennsylvania, and the pick up was somewhere near Santa Fe NM. The bottom sketch is the little depot in Ropes, TX. It is bright yellow and with the sun hitting it, it is so cheery! These are in my little 5x5 Hand Book, Sketchbook.

Good Sketchbook
There are so many sketchbooks now, but this is one of my favorites. It comes with watercolor paper, Bristol and mixed media. They are all good. They also come In 2 sizes. I like the small ones.
This sketch is from a photo my cousin posted. She has so many beautiful birds, and some fun bird houses/ nests.
I used a tombow marker on it after I drew it with ink.
